Magnum Mangums | Louisiana Family Photographer

This weekend I had the chance to be part of a VERY cool event. 

A surprise event. A surprise party for a wonderful woman and mother.

This surprise retirement celebration has been in the works for about 5 months. All of the original Mangum children came to Louisiana from all over the country, bringing ALL of their kids, to celebrate Memorial Day with their parents who are about to leave on a mission. And I got to be a part of it!

 

Paula was certainly surprised! And happy! And for good reason... this is the first time since 2003 that all of her children (and their kids/spouses) have been together all at one time. We got some GREAT family photos that evening. It's hard to get all of the kids to look at the camera at once, but it makes for a good memory to have a couple of Arm-pit shots like the one below!
